Yin Yoga and Sound Bath
5:30-6:45pm
Tuesdays - School of Arts Hall, Urunga
Wednesdays - Literary Institute Hall, Urunga

Yin Yoga is a restorative, floor based practice. We take time to gently move into each shape, then stay for several minutes. Blankets, bolsters and blocks are often used to support your body as your muscles are invited to relax and soften. Options are given in each shape to suit different bodies and meet you where you are in the moment. Each class concludes with a long, soothing sound bath, featuring crystal singing bowls and native American flute to carry you home to your heart and help integrate your practice.
Suited to a wide range of people and age groups who are comfortable being on the floor.

Spring Equinox Cacao Ceremony
Sunday September 21
3:00-5:00pm
Literary Institute Hall, Urunga

Coming together in sacredness is the way of the heart, in community and connection with oneself and others, the lands and Spirit. You are warmly invited to join us for this heart-opening sacred ceremony - a very potent time of Spring Equinox and a partial solar eclipse. This is a small gathering to gently expand into the Spring energies of birth, lightness and joy.

Our ceremony begins with a cleansing smoking ritual and welcome. With the support of sacred rituals and guided practices including Ceremonial Cacao, Meditation, Breathwork, Journalling and Sound, we will steadily ground and drop deep into our hearts as we call forward what we are ready to be with and release. Depending on the flow of the ceremony, for those who choose, there may be an opportunity for participants to share or be held in silence within the group.

In addition to Ceremonial Cacao, sound will be integral to our Circle. Instruments will include a beautiful selection of crystal and/or Himalayan singing bowls, native American flute, Shamanic drum and voice that will carry you with gentleness and love, home to your heart. We will close with simplicity, gently grounding in and honouring ourselves and our sacred intentions.

All are welcome, just as you are.

Each participant will be provided with a yoga mat, bolster, eye pillow and blanket. Please wear comfortable clothing with an extra layer for warmth and bring a water bottle, journal/notepad and pen. It is recommended that you bring an extra blanket and/or small cushion for under your head.

You are welcome to bring a flower, leaf, crystal or other item from nature to place in the centre of our ceremonial space.

Places are limited to honour each person's presence and the integrity of the Circle.
